The AgriEnergy Producers' Association of Ontario (APAO) is a Voting Member Organization. APAO's mandate subscribes to that of OSEA's, being to "facilitate the transition to a sustainable energy economy in Ontario through the development and support of community-based sustainable energy initiatives".
The main objectives of APAO are to facilitate the exchange of information and sharing of tools amongst individual members while continually promoting the development of the agrienergy sector in Ontario.

| projects: | Agrienergy producers include on-farm operations equipped with renewable energy projects to produce fuel and/or electricity to be used either in farm activities, or to be sold to the public grid. Of high priority is the development of biogas systems, which anaerobically digest manure, organic material or energy crops to produce biogas, which is further, processed for electricity generation. Other technology being promoted by the association includes the on-farm production of ethanol or biofuels which can be used as transportation fuel. |
