CanSIA is the national trade association representing the interests o f companies, governments and individuals which share an interest in solar technology. The Association works to strengthen the Canadian solar industry, increase the professionalism of companies, foster domestic and international markets, and promote the use of renewable energies.

Our members have told us that our work lobbying policymakers and resolving industry issues (such as insurance, product standards, certification, government support for deployment) is more important than ever. CanSIA is following a proactive plan that will allow the association to deal with issues of great importance to the industry. It includes four key goals:
- Stabilizing the resources that CanSIA needs to deliver the programs
- Providing leadership to the industry
- Building awareness and understanding of the industry
- Working with government to introduce programs to support solar
CanSIA cannot accomplish these things without the support of the solar industry. Your continued support, through membership renewal fees and volunteer efforts, ensures that these successes will pave the way for an increasingly viable and vibrant solar industry in Canada. |
