The mission of the Sustainable HNES co-operative is to foster an environmentally sustainable space for the work and academic endeavors of the staff, faculty and students using the Health, Nursing and Environmental Studies building on York University's Keele campus. This will be accomplished by a variety of student-led initiatives to improve the building's water and energy efficiency, generate power on-site from renewable sources as well as indoor projects are intended to provide learning opportunities and experiences for students enrolled in the Faculty of Environmental Studies. |
