Thomsen Foundation engages in establishing and coordinating international standards for training programs in the area of renewable energy, fostering affordable energy self-sufficiency through solar system into the average home.

The Foundation works together with BZEE ( Educational Center for Renewable Energy) Germany to set up standardized training centers for wind energy technicians in Canada/North America, China and other jurisdictions, supports the activities of WWEI (World Wind Energy Institute).

As well, the Foundation takes on promoting Canadian education to the international communities with emphasis on skill training and the introduction of policy in building a sustainable future.
