Windfall Ecology Centre is a York Region based non-profit multi-partner organization that brings
environmental solutions to homes, businesses, institutions, and communities.
Windfall Ecology Centre has achieved results by mobilizing community cooperation and by providing practical
services and advice since 1998. As an organization we focus on local action, what individuals and groups
can do, today, in our community.

York Rangers is a Youth Internship Program designed to provide young people who are either unemployed or underemployed and out of school with an opportunity to participate in a structured working/learning environment where they will develop valuable employability skills. Youth placements will be open to youth at risk or youth who are economically or socially disadvantaged in entering the labour market. Interns will be actively engaged within a professional milieu working in an emerging growth industry (environmental stewardship) while performing work that is of great service to the community at large.
Windfall Ecology Centre coordinates and hosts numerous projects including home energy audits, sustainability workshops, and the annual Windfall Ecology Festival.
