OSEA Board Nominations Nomination Period: Spring 2023 OSEA's Board is calling for nominations to fill up to four additional vacancies. All OSEA members in good standing* are eligible to run for director seats. Serving as a director on OSEA’s board is a voluntary position. Nominees should have experience in more than one of the following areas, in the following priority for OSEA: - Communications (Website, Social Media, Event Management etc.) and or IT Skills - Grantmaking (Sourcing funds from Governments, Industry and Foundations) - Government Relations and/or Public Relations expertise (GR & Public Affairs) - Canadian and or International Renewable Energy Project Development (e.g. Exporting Clean Tech) - Law (Aboriginal Partnerships and Energy) - Research and R&D with the Academic Sector | The following backgrounds are desired but not mandatory: - BioEnergy Sector - Building and Energy Efficiency Trades Sector - Transportation (Renewable Fuels, EVs, AI) Sector - Northern / Rural Ontario and First Nations experience - Community and or Co-op Sector Energy Engagement - Grassroots mobilization, Energy Campaign Management - Contract Negotiation (First Nations and Energy Projects) - Labour / Human Resources & Association Management |
